I found you under the darkening sky,
Meaning that tomorrow promised rain.
We spoke of many things on that day
And when we walked again.
I found you again, when school began,
Slightly different but the same.
I wanted to rekindle our friendship,
But my heart I could not tame.
I know now that the right thing to do
Is to let you go,
But, call me foolish if you wish,
But to that I continuously say 'no'.
My devotion is unnatural,
Of that I am sure.
But what can one say,
When I proclaim 'I don't care'
It is said that love will set you free,
Free from all your woes.
You must work hard for that,
The hardest part of love is letting you go...

Critiques
You get a 5 for impact and vision because it's a very well-conveyed, powerful piece, and at this point in my life especially, it hits home on a very personal level for me.
You also get a 5 for originality. Most people have a hard time putting into words that irrational, illogical love toward someone else... a love that you know you shouldn't feel, but you do anyway, and you will never voluntarily stop. I've had such a difficult time explaining this to the people in my life. You've done a great job.
